            "value": "<p>IST doesn’t conduct its own entry test. The results of following entry tests are acceptable to apply for admission in undergraduate programs offered by IST. Applicants can appear in any one of the below mentioned tests and can use the higher score to apply for admission in IST:</p><ul><li>NAT which is conducted by NTS in every month</li><li>USAT which is conducted by ETC-HEC</li><li>NET which is conducted by NUST Islamabad</li><li>ECAT which is conducted by UET Lahore</li><li>ETEA which is conducted by UET Peshawar</li><li>Entry Test for Engineering Programs conducted by MUET Jamshoro</li><li>Entry Test for Engineering Programs conducted by NED Karachi</li><li>ACT which is conducted by ACT-USA</li></ul><p>Further details related to acceptable entry tests dates &amp; categories are as under:</p><ul><li><b>NAT Acceptable Test Dates &amp; Categories</b><br/>The test is conducted by NTS in all major cities of Pakistan in every month. Interested students are required to visit NTS website i.e. <a href=\"https://nts.org.pk/Test&amp;Products/Announced/05_26/NAT_GAT_May2026/index.php\">https://nts.org.pk/Test&amp;Products/Announced/05_26/NAT_GAT_May2026/index.php</a> or contact NTS to get desired information related to the registration procedure, test dates and centers etc.<br/><br/><b><i>Acceptable Dates:</i></b><br/>The results of the NAT conducted by NTS from <b>July 01, 2025 to July 31, 2026</b> are acceptable to apply for admission in BS programs offered by IST.<br/><br/><b><i>Acceptable Categories:</i></b><br/><ul><li>NAT-1E and NAT-1CS, both are acceptable to apply for admission in BS Engineering Programs</li></ul></li><li><b>USAT Acceptable Test Dates &amp; Categories</b><br/>HEC has established Education Testing Commission (ETC) to hold Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) for UG admissions.<br/><b><i>Acceptable Dates:</i></b><br/>The results of the USAT tests announced/ available from <b>July 01, 2025 to July 31, 2026</b> are acceptable to apply for admission in BS programs offered by IST.<br/><br/><b><i>Acceptable Categories:</i></b><br/><ul><li><b>USAT-E (Pre-Engineering)</b> and <b>USAT-CS (Computer Science)</b>, both are acceptable to apply for admission in BS Engineering Programs</li></ul></li><li><b>NET Acceptable Test Dates &amp; Categories</b><br/>The result of NUST Entry Test (NET) announced/ available from <b>December, 2025 to July 31, 2026</b> are acceptable to apply for admission in BS programs offered by IST.<br/><br/><b><i>Acceptable Categories:</i></b><ul><li>NET (Engineering Category), NET (Computer Science) both are acceptable to apply for admission in all BS Engineering Programs</li></ul></li><li><b>ECAT Acceptable Test Date &amp; Category</b><br/>The result of ECAT conducted by University of Engineering &amp; Technology (UET) Lahore for <b>Fall 2026 intake</b> in Engineering Programs announced/ available before last date of admissions announced by IST will be acceptable to apply for admission in all BS Engineering Programs offered by IST.<br/><br/></li><li><b>ETEA Acceptable Test Date &amp; Category</b><br/>The result of ETEA conducted by University of Engineering &amp; Technology (UET) Peshawar for <b>Fall 2026</b> intake in Engineering Programs announced/ available before last date of admissions announced by IST will be acceptable to apply for admission in all BS Engineering Programs offered by IST.<br/><br/></li><li><b>MUET Jamshoro Acceptable Test Date &amp; Category</b><br/>The result of Entry Test conducted by Mehran University of Engineering &amp; Technology (MUET), Jamshoro for <b>Fall 2026</b> intake in Engineering Programs announced/ available before last date of admissions announced by IST will be acceptable to apply for admission in all BS Engineering Programs offered by IST.</li><li><b>NED UET Acceptable Test Date &amp; Category</b><br/>The result of Entry Test conducted by NED University of Engineering &amp; Technology, Karachi for <b>Fall 2026</b> intake in Engineering Programs announced/ available before last date of admissions announced by IST will be acceptable to apply for admission in all BS Engineering Programs offered by IST.</li><li><b>ACT Acceptable Test Dates</b><br/>The composite score of ACT conducted from <b>July 01, 2025 to July 31, 2026</b> is acceptable to apply for admission in BS programs offered by IST. Candidates are required to enter their ACT Composite Score in their online application form and upload the score card available in “MyACT account” otherwise their application will not be processed.</li></ul>",
